According to new research by loveholidays, the United Arab Emirates has won the highest amount of awards related to travel, in comparison to any other country in the world.
We examined nearly 3,000 destination-awards won over the last five years (2015-2019) in the following categories: travel, hospitality, destination, business, entertainment and conservation, to determine the most award-winning cities and countries in the world.

Our seed list consists of 2,891 awards given by 20 award bodies between 2015 and 2019 across multiple categories. For our analysis, we accumulated the number of awards per country and per city to reveal the destinations in receipt of the most awards overall and in each category.
