UAE Organizations Recognized At The 18th Annual Stevie® Awards For Women In Business

High-achieving female executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and organizations run by women have been recognized as Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie® Award winners in 18th Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition produced by the creators of the prestigious International Business Awards® and American Business Awards®. The Stevie is widely regarded as the world’s premier business award.

This year’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be honored during a virtual awards ceremony on Thursday, January 13, 2022. More than 450 women and their guests from around the world are expected to participate.

More than 1,800 nominations from organizations and individuals around the world were submitted to the awards this year for consideration in categories including COVID-19 Response, Entrepreneur of the Year, Executive of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, and Startup of the Year, among others. More than 160 business professionals working in eight specialized judging committees determined the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners.

Among the many extraordinary organizations and women who have been recognized as Stevie winners, the following organizations stand out from Dubai:

Aster DM Healthcare won the Gold Stevie Award for Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Europe the Middle East & Africa, which is the highest honor. Aster DM Healthcare is recognized as one of the largest private healthcare providers operating in multiple GCC states, Jordan, and India through its network of 26 hospitals, 115 clinics and 225 pharmacies.

Ms. Alisha Moopen, Deputy Managing Director from Aster DM Healthcare commented on her Stevie Award win saying” It is an honor for me to receive this award and I take this opportunity to dedicate the award to all our 22,000 Asturians who have put their heart and soul into serving communities through one of the toughest times in history. Nawal Alhanaee, Director at The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure won the Gold Stevie Award for Female Innovator of the Year – Government or Non-Profit –11 to 2,500 Employees & a Silver Stevie for Most Innovative Woman of the Year – Government or Non-Profit category. The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI) has contributed to the urban development of the UAE through federal infrastructure projects such as government houses, buildings, in addition to developing a strong road network. It also works on proposing and developing policies, legislations, and strategies.

Other Stevie-winning organizations based in Dubai are ASCIRA Global, DEZIRE Project Consultant, and DHL Express.
