Tickets To The Official 48th UAE National Day Celebration Selling Fast

With just under a week to go and preparations almost complete for the Official 48th UAE National Day Celebration titled ‘Legacy of Our Ancestors’, tickets to the epic theatrical show on 2 December at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, are almost sold out.

The Organising Committee for the Official 48^th UAE National Day Celebration said it had received strong interest from citizens and residents to attend the show, which clearly reflects the pride and dedication to be part of the celebrations, two key values that will be portrayed during ‘Legacy of Our Ancestors’.

Such has been the level of interest in the show, which will be held on a 10,000 sq m stage and involve 1,800 props, only a limited number of tickets for the unprecedented show remain. The Organising Committee of the Official 48th National Day Celebrations urged citizens and residents interested in attending to reserve tickets as soon as possible.

“‘Legacy of Our Ancestors’ will take the audience on a journey which has never been witnessed before. More than 5,000 experts from 70 countries have helped put this unmissable show together. The audience will be taken on a journey of UAE heritage through a series of stories that highlight core values such as courage, determination, generosity, and tolerance; values passed down by our forefathers through generations,” said Saeed Al Suwaidi, member of the Organising Committee of the Official 48^th UAE National Day Celebration.

The theatrical spectacle will be accompanied by an original soundtrack that will elevate the auditory experience. The soundtrack was composed by eight internationally renowned composers and produced by more than 80 international musicians including the famed Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

“In order to provide spectators with a seamless experience on 2 December, the Organizing Committee has implemented a ‘park and ride’ service which will transport ticket holders to the stadium from the designated parking areas in Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque or the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC)” Said Saeed.

Park-and-ride services are available from the two parking locations to the stadium from 4pm – 6.30pm. The last shuttle bus from the stadium to the parking zones will leave Zayed Sports City Stadium at 9.30pm.
