For the very first time in history, Sukhishvili is coming to Dubai with 3 performances at Dubai Opera on Friday 3 January 2020 at 8pm and Saturday 4 January 2020 at 2pm and 8pm

Attend a mesmerising night of ballet that embodies the spirit of Georgia, from its natural landscape to rich culture, with Sukhishvili Georgian National Ballet. The renowned ensemble – proclaimed ‘the world’s greatest dancers’ by The Washington Post – is performing at Dubai Opera for the first time this January.

Formed in the capital city of Tbilisi in 1944, the dance company has made a name for itself around the world with memorable performances at iconic venues. Their choreography blends ballet with folk-inspired traditional dance and acrobatics to entrance audiences.

Every Dance tells us a story about peace and war, love and passion, life and death, proud nation, fierce and beautiful, majestic mountains and vine-clad valleys, endowed with natural wonder and rich cultural heritage. Every Dancer of Sukhishvili National Ballet is great storyteller. Movement is the ultimate language. No words are needed, no explanation, only movements passion and expression. To see them perform on the stage is breath-taking.

Founded in Georgia’s capital, Tbilisi, the Company rapidly gained a reputation that spread far beyond the borders of Georgia itself, however all the time retaining the essential spirit of its homeland.
