Pegah Gol – The Self Made Entrepreneur

Pegah came highly recommended through a common friend. Last week I caught up with her on Zoom. She came across as a confident and charming professional who plays to her strengths and knows where she is going.

Her story will resonate with a lot of old-timers in Dubai. Back in the day, when one came to Dubai with starry eyes, it was quite a task to land a good job. And so it was with Pegah. She had to struggle to find a job of her liking. Pegah believes those struggles marked the beginning of her journey to become a career coach.

Luckily her path led her to work in a recruitment agency & after a few successful years in the corporate world as a headhunter, she helped thousands of job seekers land their dream jobs. After she learned all the ropes, Pegah decided she had gained enough confidence to turn into a solopreneur. She started her own company in the areas of strategic personal branding and career counseling and has never looked back.

Today, Pegah is a serial entrepreneur and has authored a book (Amazon’s Best Selling Book) entitled, ‘The Formula, the ultimate guide of modern job finding’. In her book, Pegah documents her struggles to find a job in combination with her 15 years of knowledge of the jobhunting process as a headhunter.

The inspiration for Pegah to write her book was to help job-seekers land an ideal job without having to go through the grind. The book turned out to be a game-changer for Pegah. To quote her, “I didn’t expect that writing a book can change my life to reach people & places I wouldn’t imagine! I owe the success of my book to my intention of serving & helping jobseekers to have a more manageable process.”

Pegah wears multiple hats and juggling comes naturally to her. As part of career coaching, she also helps her clients with personal branding and brand reputation. In her words, “Personal branding is identifying your assets, characteristics, strengths, and skills as an individual. Telling the world who you are and what it is that you stand for. It’s about influencing people’s perception of yourself and establishing your credibility as an expert or industry leader.”
