Newly Opened Spinneys Meydan Supermarket Shows A State-Of-The-Art Store Design

The supermarket chain Spinneys opened its first concept store with an area of 1.830 m² at Al Meydan Road, Dubai. It’s the result of a cooperation with the internationally awarded design and shopfitting company Interstore | Schweitzer. By using their unique Design & Build approach, which combines store design
at a high level with pinpoint realization from one source, the store is leading the way in international design within the supermarket environment.

The new store can be considered a lighthouse project, as it’s located in a new building, which also accommodates Spinneys’ new headquarters. The entrance of the store welcomes you directly into the fresh departments and directs the view towards the long deli counter with the bakery. The graphic concept shows the expertise of Spinneys and for easy orientation, icons with traditional mosaic are placed by themes for the specific departments above the counters.
