Microsoft Powers Teams To Be Webinar Friendly
Microsoft Teams was released as part of the Office 365 productivity suite in November 2016. Teams is a communication network that brings together chat, audio, video, and file sharing in one place. It’s intended for use by local, remote, and dispersed work groups—basically, everyone in any business!
Since its inception, Microsoft has been constantly updating Teams. As demand for robust communication tools has increased, a slew of additional features have been introduced across 2020 and into 2021.These following are some of its main features:
- CHATS
Both one-on-one and community chats are available via Chat Teams. Users don’t need to browse chat history as they did in Skype for Business because both forms are permanent. Document formatting, emoji, and requirement marking are only a few of the modern messaging features available in Teams Talk. During chat sessions, users can also exchange files directly.
- CHANNEL
Users’ desire to communicate across several different networks is the true strength of Teams. Standard content is available to everyone who wants to participate, while private channels are based on particular topics or events. New members must always be granted permission to access the network through the channel owner.
- MEETINGS
Teams can accommodate up to 250 people per videoconference session. Microsoft is actively working to increase the cap in response to public demand. Users may build video meetings on the fly or arrange them on a channel’s calendar. Using the Microsoft Stream application, Teams can broadcast meetings to up to 10,000 concurrent viewers.
- CALLS
One of Teams’ most underappreciated functionality is its ability to make outbound calls directly from the client. It’s a fantastic way for remotely users to stay linked through a single, dependable link.
Many of the safety features of the Microsoft 365 suite are included in Teams. Two-factor authentication, and also authentication in rest and transit in the cloud, are all included. Data in Teams complies with ISO 27001, but also SOC 1 and SOC 2. It can be configured to satisfy a variety of stringent industry data protection regulations, such as Health insurance portability and accountability patient information constraints in healthcare. Teams may be password-protected and safe, but that doesn’t mean you can’t collaborate with internal and external partners. Inside the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, the administrators will create guest accounts for Teams, which is a great way to interact on calls on channels with customers, business associates, agencies, or any other external stakeholders you want to include.
INTRODUCING MICROSOFT TEAMS WEBINARS: CREATE QUICK, EFFICIENT Webinars To Engage With Customers
We’ve discovered new ways to develop immersive virtual environments at work over the last year. We’ve converted rooms in our homes into offices, learned new skills for remote communication, and, in some cases, implemented modern technology. Often hear from our customers about the difficulty of juggling several resources to complete identical work duties. That’s one of the purposes that Microsoft is excited to share with the new Microsoft Teams features that offer you even more opportunities to use the tool you already use for official management and meetings, as well as webcasts and external factors.
Webinars with all the bells and whistles for deeper customer experience
For Teams, you can now plan and host immersive meetings and online training for up to 1,000 people. Use end-to-end webinar support that’s as easy to set up as a Teams conference, with personalized increased brand recognition and participant addresses, rich presentation options, host features such as the opportunity to disable participant chat and video, and post-event reporting to understand attendance and follow up with attendees. Teams meetings will scale to adjust a 10,000-person view-only broadcast experience if you need to cover more than 1,000 people.
Everyone can give a professional presentation.
Anyone can offer more impactful and interactive presentations with PowerPoint Live and Presenter mode in Microsoft Teams, allowing you to communicate in a somewhat more professional looking manner to your audience. Presenters can become more assured and competent during online presentations by combining Microsoft’s rich background with presenter interactions in PowerPoint and the collaborative power of Teams. When presenting, you can see forthcoming slides, notes, meeting conversation, and the audience all in one place.
Meanwhile, attendees can customize their experience by privately exploring the material at their speed or making content available with high contrast mode and screen readers. Slide translation features will be available soon, allowing attendees to pick their native language and have slides conveniently interpreted about them without altering the experience for other attendees.
Presenters can configure how their video stream and content present to the viewer in presentation mode. The first of three choices, Standout mode, places the speaker’s video feed at the front of the social networks as a silhouette.Reporter mode, analogous to a news broadcast, displays information as a visual aid over the presenter’s elbow; and Side-by-side method displays the presenter’s camera feed opposite their content as they present. Later in May, Standout feature will become accessible, followed by Reporter and Side-by-Side.
After your webinar, stay in touch with your participants.
In your customer engagement activities, a webinar is just one touchpoint. After the case, use easy reporting to import attendee data into your customer relationship management (CRM) software for product generation and follow-up.Customers of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing can now export attendee information directly from Teams to build campaigns and consumer journeys for existing nurture sources, starting this month. With the Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing integration, webinar hosts have more options for increasing interest, retention, and loyalty among their attendees.
