Madrid’s Finest Celebrity Hotspot, Amazonico, Now Open in Dubai

One of the most awaited openings of the year; Amazonico, the rainforest-inspired restaurant is now officially open following its extravagant launch party attended by some of the hottest socialites and regional celebrities, including Mona Kassfy, Angela Cid, Marjorie Lahham & Sabrina, Gizele Thakral, Dee Mohammed, Gabriella Bjersland, Maxim Bouchard, Nina Carpio, Rania Fawaz, Yasmin Sadat, Dina Aziz amongst many others.

From its initial Madrid opening in 2016, to its second spot unveiled in London earlier this month, Amazonico is proud to open its third location in the heart of Dubai’s trendiest nightlife scene, DIFC.  Drawing inspiration from Latin American culture, Amazonico boasts a three storey, prime location at Gate Village Pavilion, DIFC.

Founded by husband and wife Madrid restaurateur team, Chef Sandro Silvia and Marta Seco, the menu features an eclectic mix of Latin American modern dishes and handcrafted cocktails. With striking décor designed by the Spain-born award-winning interior designer, Lázaro Rosa-Violán; the vibrant venue promises to take guests on a sensory journey along the flow of the Amazon river, exploring the Latin American culinary landscape upon every bite and sight.

“At Amazonico, our ethos is to create an environment where guests bring energy to the restaurant — as soon as they step in, they become the craftsmen of the atmosphere. We see Amazonico as a concept that belongs to the guests, where the cultural diversity funnels its energy and vibe,” add the Founders.

The carefully crafted menu features a harmonious approach to flavours with every dish paying tribute to a rich culinary heritage that subtly blends influences from South America and Asia. Whether you prefer dining in at the sushi bar, the expansive first floor dining room or an al fresco experience at the rooftop venue; Amazonico assures an explosion of senses with live music, lush natural décor and a distinctive culinary experience.

The expansive bar features an array of sushi and ceviche creations, from the kitchen wafts comes the delicious scents of sizzling premium steak cuts, fresh seafood and chargrilled meats grilled to perfection. Guests can also expect to dine on delicacies such as frogs’ legs and Asian-inspired poke, in addition to refreshing salads, blazing woks and decadent desserts.

The innovative layout will leave guests besotted all the way from the bar at the entrance through the lounge, from the sushi counter to the first-floor dining area, and the stunning rooftop terrace, all of which is curated with Amazonian references from source to sea, featuring plenty of natural accents and raw materials. With jungle-chic furniture accents, ceilings draped with lush rainforest-inspired foliage indoors, each area creates an incredible experience.

Amazonico co-founders, Chef Sandro Silva and Marta Seco lead the kitchen brigade in delivering excellence in service, hospitality and an undeniable dining adventure. Amazonico is located in Gate Village, Pavillon DIFC is open daily from 12PM to 2AM on weekdays and until 3AM on weekends.
