Global Investors From Latin And North America Express Intentions Of Exploring Potential Investment Opportunities Across UAE’s Vibrant Real Estate Segment

Global investors coming from both the South and North American region who are participating in this year’s edition of the International Property Show, the ultimate sales platform for both local and international real estate markets, which is running until March 26, 2022, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, have expressed high interest in exploring potential investment opportunities across the UAE’s rapidly thriving and very vibrant real estate segment. The participating parties revealed their intentions during the second day of IPS of infusing investments into major property development projects.

According to IPS organizers, the participants from Latin and South America are part of the more than 1600 global investors present at the exciting three-day show. The confidence to explore potential investment opportunities complements the forecast recently made by industry experts saying that even in the midst of the closing of Dubai Expo 2020, the presence of a well-established supply of property build projects and the key support rendered by the government guarantees a continued upward trajectory for this segment’s post Expo phase.

Joao Teodoro Da Silva, President of the Conselho Federal de Corretores de Imóveis from Latin America, and Francisco Del Castillo, Chief Executive Director of the CAMPAY Group from South America gave key presentations during the second day of IPS 2022–showcasing some of their current projects while also detailing their full intentions of entering into partnerships and investing in major property undertakings in the UAE.

Da Silva, who is visiting the country for the first time, shared, “This is my first ever visit Dubai, and I am really impressed by how rapidly the construction industry and the overall economy are growing. I believe that participating in an event like this will provide access to worldwide investment and business opportunities. With Expo 2020, Dubai has truly positioned itself as a prominent global investment destination for the present and future.”

Meanwhile, Teresa Kinney, CEO, Miami Association of Realtors, pointed out the important role that IPS plays in the move to bring full sustainability and efficiency across the real estate segment. “Expo 2020 has elevated Dubai to the global stage and helped spread good investment opportunities to international investors. In terms of property design, architecture, and technology, Miami and Dubai are both leading world-class cities of the future. The International Property Show in Dubai will help both sides collaborate on innovation, sustainability, and development through increased networking opportunities. We are striving toward a sustainable future by creating smart cities that will aid in creating advanced infrastructure.”

Several roundtable discussions were also held during the second day of the show. The first session tackled the role of real estate associations in the move to shape today’s property markets. The session saw the participation of Simo Labriti, Realtor, Keller Williams, Elite Properties; Gabriel Amedee, CEO, Strike Realty; Bethany Martinez, President, Miami Chapter of the Young Professionals Network (YPN); and Kevin Puricelli, Director of Creative Services, YPN. The second roundtable, which placed key focus on the empowerment of women working in real estate, featured Alicia Matheson, President, Matheson Global Consulting; Leslie Rouda Smith, President, National Association of Realtors (NAR); Anna Gazzara, Director, NAR; and Dr. Hiba Jaber, a noted Dubai real estate expert.
