Last weekend saw two lucky Dubai residents from the Philippines and India share the AED 1 million cash prize by matching five numbers out of six with the winning draw results; both winners opted to keep their privacy after learning that they had won the huge sum on Emirates Loto’s second weekend in operation.

Mohammed Khaled was the first lucky winner of AED 350,000 on the Emirates Loto inaugural draw, as the only collectible buyer to win a large sum on its first ever weekend of play. A telecommunications engineer who moved from his native India to Dubai over two decades ago, Mohammed chose to split his winnings with his family and donate to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum’s ‘10 million Ramadan’ meals campaign.
