Emirates Health Services’ Board Reconstituted With Dr. Mohammad Salim Al Olama As Chairman
After its reconstitution for the next three years, Emirates Health Services (EHS) Board of Directors held its meeting chaired by H.E Dr Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
This supports the goals of EHS to provide an integrated and sustainable health service system that promotes the UAE’s health sector as per the highest international standards and establishes the nation’s leadership in the sector by fostering the development of health services.
H.E Dr Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Chairman of the Board of Directors, expressed his gratitude towards the UAE Cabinet for the high confidence it placed in EHS’ Board of Directors, which supports the advancement of work in the healthcare sector.
He also welcomed the board members and underlined the significance of their contributions to the EHS’s efficiency, quality of performance, and commitment to implementing plans, strategies, and initiatives that improve the competitiveness of the healthcare sector at the regional and global levels.
He congratulated EHS facilities for providing excellent medical treatment and their digital services, while emphasising the importance of working together to enhance the working environment to reach new qualitative goals.
From his part, H.E. Dr. Yousif Mohammed Al-Serkal, Director-General of Emirates Health Services (EHS),asserted the commitment of EHS to driving sustainable growth by providing cutting-edge medical technology to enhance excellence, leadership, and competitiveness, and to strengthen its position as one of the best health entities with competitive services locally and globally.
The meeting addressed the Policy and Strategy Committee’s recommendations and action plans to strengthen the readiness of the health sector. The meeting also reviewed the Audit and Risk Committee’s recommendations and the Board of Directors’ 2022 annual report, and discussed transformative projects that would enhance the competitiveness of EHS at the regional and global levels.
