Dubai’s Landmark Attractions Light Up In Colours Of Saudi Flag To Celebrate KSA National Day 2020

The Burj Al Arab hotel, Dubai Frame and IMAGINE Show at Dubai Festival City were illuminated in the green and white of Saudi Arabia’s flag as Dubai celebrated KSA National Day on 23 September. Saudi nationals living in Dubai along with Emiratis, UAE residents and visitors, came together to witness the spectacular displays, which marked the start of a series of fun, family-friendly festivities and great promotions taking place across the city until 26 September.

The Burj Al Arab, the iconic seven-star hotel in Jumeirah, was turned green in a stunning light and projection show that took place from sunset until midnight. The display delighted crowds of friends and families out to enjoy the cooler evening weather and to participate in the fantastic celebration of unity between the UAE and KSA. The Dubai Frame in Zabeel Park was also illuminated in the colours of the Saudi Arabian flag.

The award-winning IMAGINE show at Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City Mall was back in full swing after a six-month refurbishment, and dazzled onlookers with two shows at 7.40pm and 8.30pm. Both shows featured an amazing combination of dancing fountains, colourful lasers and thumping music as the Saudi national anthem, as well as a mix of traditional and contemporary Arabic songs, were played to the crowds at the open-air venue.

KSA National Day in Dubai will run until 26 September and include a diverse range of promotions and family events created to bring together the citizens of the UAE and Saudi Arabia as well as residents and visitors for a shared celebration of family fun and togetherness.
