Careem Expands Iits Shops Service In The UAE

Careem, the region’s multi-service platform, is expanding its Shops service in Dubai, adding a range of new partners including grocery stores, pharmacies, pet shops, florists, butchers, and other speciality stores. As part of the relaunch, the service will also be available for a bigger geographical audience, with an improved delivery time. Building off of its grocery service that was launched in 2020, Shops will continue to increase its offering into areas beyond groceries.

With an improved user-friendly interface on the app, the Shops service sees an expansion of 5x more stores, covering 90% of the Emirate of Dubai and 140 partnered brands across six different categories. Customers are now able to buy groceries from over 100 stores including supermarkets Al Maya, Aswaaq and Grandiose, fresh meats and poultry from speciality butcher shops such as The Butcher Shop & Grill, get medicine delivered instantly with onboarded pharmacies including 800 Pharmacy, DOCIB and Al Manara, coffee from Nescafe Dulce Gusto and order gifts and flowers.

To use this service, Customers need to download the Careem Super App, click “Shops” on the home screen and choose their preferred merchant.

The Careem app is available on the Apple App Store, Google Play or via direct Android download.
