16th Episode Of ‘Experts Talk Show’ Celebrates Success Stories Of Inspiring Women In The UAE
The ‘Experts Talks Show’, a social awareness initiative and a popular webinar series sponsored by Salem Ahmad Almoosa Enterprises (SAAE), recently hosted its 16th episode which featured inspiring women from different industries in the wake of the International Women’s Day. The motive of the special episode was to celebrate women and their success stories as well as spread awareness about women empowerment.
The latest episode featured H.E. Shamsa Saleh, CEO, Dubai Women Establishment; and Sara Al Jneibi, UAE National Team Player and gold medalist as guest speakers. The host Alharith Almoosa, Vice Chairman of the Falconcity of Wonders, was also part of the panel discussion, which was moderated by Jassim Al Bastaki, an economic affairs researcher.
Thousands of viewers from the UAE and across the region watched the special episode as the guest speakers discussed their professional lives, their challenges and career achievements. The discussions emphasized how women can take on different roles such as a mother, an entrepreneur, or even a sportswoman, and still manage to streamline their career and follow their dreams. H.E Shamsa Saleh, CEO of Dubai women’s establishment, time management and planning are key to creating a work life balance. For her, it is important to prioritize work and simultaneously include it in her lifestyle.
The UAE offers women many privileges in the laws of the country, says Her Excellency. Having mandatory childcare centers at workplaces offers mothers the peace of mind that they children are safe as they pursue their work, she added.
On her part, Captain Sarah Al Jeneibi, gold medalist holder, explained in detail about her achievements in sports and gave due credit to her family for supporting her in her professional career. Al Jenelbi reflected on her struggles and challenges she had to overcome to reach where she is today. Women must dream and strive to keep that dream alive in order to push themselves to become successful, she said.
Meanwhile, Alharith Moosa, the Vice Chairman of Falconcity of Wonders, said that he is proud of the achievements of the women in the UAE and praised the efforts of the national government towards gender equality and more women-centric legislations. He believes that the future will be brighter if the women of the UAE are encouraged and supported to follow their goals.
